There’s a certain magic to saying things out loud.
Even more magic when you write them down.
You know that feeling when you leave a restaurant and the world just looks a little brighter? Maybe it was the lighting, the playlist, the perfectly crusted bread, or the fact that someone refilled your water before you had to ask. That kind of intentionality leaves a mark. And it’s exactly the kind of energy I want to bring into the future of The City Select.
Lately, I’ve been thinking about manifestation. Not in the “just think positive and it’ll happen” way, but as an act of clarity. Of choosing to name your desires. Of taking the time to ask yourself: what do I really want to build?
So, I’m writing it down. Not as a wishlist, but as a roadmap.
As I continue to grow The City Select into a go-to guide for city tourism, aesthetic spaces, and design-forward experiences, I’ve been reflecting on the brands that light me up. The ones I return to again and again for inspiration. The ones that align with everything I value: intention, storytelling, sensory details, and gorgeous design.
And in the spirit of being aspirational and intentional, here’s the client list I’m manifesting; my dream collabs to write about and capture through my lens.
Fouquet’s New York
Walk through the doors of Fouquet’s and it instantly feels cinematic. The lighting is flattering, the colors are warm, and everything has that ineffable je ne sais quoi. It’s the French art de vivre, translated into Tribeca. I’d love to capture that elegance through my lens; where Parisian heritage meets downtown cool.
BLADE
Let’s be real: few things are as iconic as lifting off in a helicopter above the Manhattan skyline. I’ve been obsessed with aviation for years (currently working toward getting my pilot’s license!), so the chance to shoot BLADE’s private helicopter and seaplane experiences from the ground or the sky? A dream. More than luxury, this brand reflects freedom, perspective, and the romance of flight.
Arlo Hotels
Arlo’s spaces don’t just look good; they feel alive! It’s creative energy in architectural form, and I’d love to tell that story, whether it’s through written content or through a shoot that highlights their vibe. I’m also a big fan of their rooftop spaces, so would love to showcase that, as well.
Nine Orchard
Every inch of Nine Orchard is dripping in design, from the old-school architecture and warm lighting to the way it feels quiet even when it’s busy. It’s just effortlessly beautiful. I would love to craft content that highlights those dreamy little moments of stillness and detail.
Diptyque Paris
Scent is memory, and Diptyque has mastered the art of both. They certainly know how to set a mood, with scents that transport you to places like a garden in Paris or a cozy corner bookstore. Capturing that kind of worldbuilding through visuals or written content? Yes, please.
Assouline
Assouline is where literature meets luxury and where coffee tables become curated experiences. They make a space look better instantly, and flipping through one feels like a mini escape. I’m all about storytelling through visuals, and Assouline does that through design and imagery in such a bold, curated way. I’d love to craft content that reflects their own ethos: aspirational, immersive, and endlessly collectible.
Catbird
Catbird pieces feel like secrets you get to wear. They’re tiny, intricate, and beautifully made, but never flashy. Just thoughtful. Every ring or charm feels like it was chosen with meaning, and that quiet kind of luxury is something I’m always drawn to. I’d love to create content that reflects their world; intimate, warm, and full of little details that say a lot without having to try.
Mirror Palais
Mirror Palais is my latest clothing obsession. Each piece is designed to celebrate being sexy and feminine in a way that also feels bold and powerful. I’d love to bring that vision to life through content!
Each of these brands represents something I deeply admire: craftsmanship, curation, atmosphere, and a point of view. These aren’t just names on a list. They’re reflections of the world I want to help build; where beauty is noticed, the little details are appreciated, and everyday life feels just a bit more romantic because of it. These are the stories I want to tell, one post, project, and partnership at a time.
And here’s the thing: manifestation isn’t about hoping these opportunities happen. It’s about laying the groundwork, showing up creatively, and being clear about what excites you. It’s naming your taste, and then making space for it.
Just like a great restaurant doesn’t create a menu out of thin air. It curates it, taste by taste, until it reflects a point of view you can feel in every bite.
That’s what I’m building with The City Select. Here’s to what’s next!
